A-S-F super-aspirated air filter

Description: The axial super-aspirated air filter has the following functions: capture, recovery, increasing the air speed and reducing the temperature. The advantages are the reduction of fuel consumption and polluting emissions.

This study presents a method for optimizing the intake system in the case of the internal combustion engine by implementing an axial super-aspirated air filter with special functions. The axial super-aspirated air filter has the following functions: capture, recovery, increasing the air speed and reducing the temperature. The advantages are the reduction of fuel consumption and polluting emissions. This study is based on several patents related to the super-aspirated air filters as follows: Filtru de aer supraaspirant, 126019, 2012; Filtru supraaspirant inversat, 125034, 2013; Air Filter for IC Engines, US14/121,674, 2016. In general the relatively high values ​​of the temperature recorded on the intake system is due to the organization of the propulsion group, the air filter location and the lack of protection in the filter area. A solution in order to reduce the temperature on the intake system consists in the implementation of an Air by Corneliu system composed of the super-aspiring air filter, dynamic system of air transfer (STDA) and integrated thermal deflector.
