Smart Cane

Description: This smart cane is dedicated to provide some assistance for the disabled when they act independently and some protection for the injured during rehabilitation training. The smart cane can perform the functions of ordinary cane, temporary rest seat and pedometer. It consists of support rod, telescopic rod and smart pedometer. The support rod is of the inverted triangle structure to ensure the stability of canes when they bear the weight. The telescopic rod can provide three different heights according to the height of users to ensure the comfort of users. The smart pedometer can effectively sense the number of steps the users move based on the infrared sensing. Furthermore, the anti-skid device at the bottom of canes provides more security for users. This design can improve the security of users, improve the comfort during use, facilitate users to sit down and rest, improve the practicability of canes and save the public resources. Furthermore, it can also help some patients to complete the rehabilitation training according to the doctor's advice.

This smart cane consists of support rod, telescopic rod and smart pedometer. Compared with the existing technology, my smart cane has the following beneficial effects: 1. When users use this smart cane, the fixed block and rubber block on the top plate contact with the ground first. When it is under pressure, the support block on the support rod can swing around the pin, so that the top plate can quickly swing to be parallel with the ground, and the rubber block fully contacts with the ground before the cane bears the weight to ensure enough contact surface. When the user's body moves, the smart cane tilts. At this time, the support block on the support rod can continue to swing around the pin, so that the rubber block on the top plate can always contact with the ground, and the user will not fall down due to its sliding on the ground. When users use the smart cane, the curved plate under the armpit is forced to drive the ejector to move the connecting block, and the connecting block moves to squeeze the second spring to contract under the force. When the second spring contracts under the force, the pressure is transmitted to the telescopic rod and the support rod, so as to buffer the force of canes on the armpit. Furthermore, the height of telescopic rod can be adjusted according to the height of users, so as to improve the comfort during use of canes. 2. Users can directly pull the support plate of this smart cane by hand when their physical strength drops, and the support plate is forced to drive the clamp block to separate from the support rod and drive the sliding sleeve to slide on the support plate when the support plate is tilted. Furthermore, the lower end of support plate drives two fixed rods to swing around the rotation shaft. After the swing, two fixed rods and the support rods are distributed in a triangle. At this time, the sliding sleeve on the support plate contacts with the annular stop block, so that the support plate is relatively horizontal, and users can sit down and rest when their physical strength drops, so as to improve the practicability of canes. 3. This smart cane is provided with a core host, and the infrared sensor will make effective record for each step they walk. In this way, users can see the number of steps they walk every day and carry out the effective training according to the doctor's advice. This design can improve the security of users, buffer the force of canes on the armpit, and improve the comfort during use.
