Unmanned vessel coverage path planning is a crucial technology for achieving autonomous ship navigation. With the advancements in artificial intelligence technology and the shipbuilding industry, traditional coverage path planning algorithms face challenges such as discontinuous path planning and low efficiency in collaborative coverage. This project has developed a novel method for unmanned vessel coverage path planning that enables the generation of highly efficient and high-quality scanning paths. Compared to existing methods, this approach demonstrates significant improvements in path length, number of turns, unit count, and coverage rate. It enhances the quality of collaborative coverage paths, operational efficiency, and safety, effectively driving the shipping industry towards higher efficiency, intelligence, and security.
