A flexible pressure-based gingival loosening detection device

Description: Wearable device with piezoelectric sensors and airbags applies precise pressure to each tooth. ESP32 processes signals into real-time loosening percentages shown on LCD or app. Enables early detection of gum disease through non-invasive, continuous, and personalized monitoring.

This device uses airbag pressure and piezoelectric sensors to detect tooth looseness with high precision. A micro air pump inflates each airbag to press a specific tooth, and sensors measure the response. An ESP32 chip converts these signals into real-time data, shown on an LCD as a percentage. It features two modes:A.Start Mode for automatic detection;B.Raw Data Mode for calibration and research.Data is stored locally and transmitted via Wi-Fi to a mobile app for easy monitoring by users and dentists. Key Innovations:A.Real-time, quantitative looseness feedback;B.High-sensitivity detection surpassing manual or image-based tools;C.Wireless IoT data syncing;D.Independent analysis for each tooth. Development:From basic molds to a modular, fully integrated smart system with LCD and app connectivity, each version improved accuracy, usability, and comfort. Advantages:Faster and more reliable than saliva or photo-based tools, it enables accurate, at-home diagnostics in just 10 seconds per tooth. Filed under Chinese patent 202422552519.2. Future updates include app-based tooth control and custom-fit mouthpieces.
