Innovative foldable weights with adjustable center of gravity for tractors and work machines

Description: Innovative tractor weights mounted on a three-point hitch allow center of gravity adjustment without detachment. The solution enables smooth axle load distribution, improving traction, steering, and overall machine efficiency.

Innovative foldable counterweights mounted on the three-point linkage (TUZ) are designed for agricultural tractors and work machines. They enable precise adjustment of the center of gravity without the need to disconnect or replace components. The center of gravity is adjusted from the operator's cab by extending the counterweight box using a screw drive, or by lifting it using hydraulic, pneumatic or electric actuators. This enables optimal load distribution on the front or rear axle, improving traction, controllability and operational efficiency - especially when working with machines of different working lengths and weights and working on paved areas. The advantage of using the indicated solution is reduced fuel consumption and thus lower toxic emissions into the natural environment. Additionally, the foldable design ensures greater work safety. The counterweight can be advantageously equipped with additional functions, such as a transport hitch, cover crop seeder or toolbox. This technology is protected by patent applications (P.447915, P.445407) and has reached the technology readiness level TRL9.
